Intermediate character. Runs Jericho's general store and serves as a town "Doctor." However, he is so inexperienced and incompitent, he'd make James T. Roche blush.
He has been using drugs and chems to fix his clientel. Despite this, he isn't too worried about being found out. In fact, he's one of the most cheerful people in town.
Anson would like to believe that Lane has been stealing from him, though he somehow doubts it.
